“I am an orthopedist, a specialist in sports medicine. This means that I treat active people of all ages. Many people think that I see patients who engage in sports on weekends only, but in reality, we admit all patients regardless of their activity level.
Our medical center differs from others: every physician here has a specific specialization. For instance, I am an expert in sports medicine and primarily specialize in arthroscopy and knee joint treatment. Our work is focused on what we do best.
The remaining issues are managed by other specialists of our center. I think this is the most evident advantage of our facility: every physician taking care of the patient is an expert in treatment of a specific type of trauma and the following rehabilitation.
I work at an academic medical center. This means that I have the access to the newest technologies and the most relevant information. Our experts always strive to improve the level of medical service and provide patients with promising, advanced procedures and medications. Innovations often improve the patients’ quality of life.
After the consultation, I recommend treatment and monitor the patient’s recovery and rehabilitation. I observe the patient return to sports or to their favorite job and resume an active lifestyle.
This is one of the best moments in my work. After treatment, people return to their normal lives, their favorite activities. Of course, many professional athletes sustain severe injuries. I am able to help them return not only into professional sport, but also to the normal life.”
