“Many people tend to get used to gradual vision loss; they adapt to it. And when we remove the cataract from one eye, the patients realize they have been in need for treatment this whole time. The cataract is not very serious since it can be corrected with surgery. After treatment, the patients’ vision significantly improves, and they can see objects nearby and far away clearly.
